a note from the founder
nou has been my creative companion for the last decade. What began as a jewelry line evolved into a cult-favorite vintage studio by 2021.
Today, it continues as my own footwear label, born from a lifelong love of shoes and a belief that beauty lives in the details, in the stories things carry, and in the way a pair of amazing shoes can make you feel.
The same intuition that once drew me to vintage now shapes my approach to design. From my Los Angeles studio to the hands of artisans in Portugal, each pair of nou shoes is a conversation piece that is crafted with exceptional materials in small, thoughtful runs.
These pieces are a reflection everything I love and long for, made to be shared between you and me, lived in beautifully, and eventually passed on for someone else to treasure.
